Hello, KUSH. Before you accept anyone's advice about how to play this game, CONTINUE reading up on stuff. It is the only legitimate way to actually learn what you're getting into, BEFORE you step into it and waste so much of your gear and resources.
 Eve DUST 514 is meant to take a long time (no, seriously, LONG) to effectively unlock and master. There are no cheating paths to learning and gaining the SP (skillpoints) you'll need to grow.
DON'T start walking around with all sorts of prototype weapons. That's a trap the game sets for you, based on the old habits you learned from playing your other shooting games. In this game, you get killed just as fast and often carrying a golden proto cannon as you do carrying a Militia gun.
So much of the reasons and secrets why things in this game work the way they do, is based on storyline folklore that the creators made up, and based on techniques/methods we players devised during gameplay.
So, with these 3 ideas in mind,
Right now, sell your pototype gear. You will need ISK to stay active in combat. This means SELL back to the game---don't try TRADING stuff with other players (you're too young, and it will only get you victimized). I'm serious, DON'T trade stuff with anyone!
Click on all the threads on this first page of Rookie Training Grounds section (including my Welcome to your Roles thread).--- Then, go in the game and use the Chat channels to socialize as much as possible with other players, to find people you can enjoy working with as a team, and trusting for advice. NewEden is always a trustworthy place.
Have a lot of fun using Militia equipment and suits. Practice with them a lot, and learn why each one works. A player who knows how to beat you with militia guns is more worth having on our teams than some player who is only effective using her expensive proto toy.
